ABOUT THE BACKLINE
The Backline is proud to be a home for all comedy in Omaha.
Improv, standup, sketch, even comedic musical acts. Show up any weekend to see the best local comedy Omaha has to offer, and sometimes we even have special guests! Former guests include Kevin McDonald, Amber Ruffin, 3Peat, Ian Roberts, Seth Morris, Mary Holland, and many others.
For those wanting to learn and improve their craft, we have classes, workshops, open mics, and other opportunities to get better. Our students have gone on to make house teams at the biggest improv schools in the nation, be on national television shows and commercials, and many of them use the skills they learn in their own careers whether they are doctors, lawyers, teachers and really everything else.
